Steve Wheeler

Steve Wheeler is Senior Lecturer in Education and Information Technology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Plymouth. He is the convenor of the influential University-wide Plymouth e-Learning Research Network, and also serves on the editorial boards of 7 international peer reviewed journals including ALT-J, Interactive Learning Environments and IRRODL. His research interests include Web 2.0, e-Learning, ICT, distance education, student perceptions and learning technologies. His most recent book (published by Routledge and co-authored by Peter John) is entitled 'The Digital Classroom: Harnessing the Power of Technology' and was published in January 2008.
